Smart Krishi Nepal is an agrotech startup focused in implementing ICT tools for sustainable agriculture and easy market access. Our product is attempting to capitalise on the fact that genuine agro information and market channels have been scarce and disorganized, yet there are millions of farmers in the country who are spread far and desperately needed it. Now, as penetration of data connections and smartphones is increasing amongst farmers, farmers can get actionable, relevant and decision-critical content in a significantly more engaging and powerful manner. Through mobile app rural farmers can get information at every stage of the crop cycle: pre-sowing to harvest giving information on quality seeds, market price, weather, local and regional agri news and crop advisory from local extension agencies till selling of crops.
