Viamo and CIMMYT designed a crowdsourced interactive voice response (IVR) marketing service to increase linkages between individuals in the value chain. Farmers registered for the service on their phone no matter how simple by answer voice basesd messages in their local languages. They were then matched with value chain actors that met their needs.
