Doordrishti is a comprehensive digital platform to support financial linkages of smallholder farmers and business sustainability of FPOs. Through our technological interventions and harnessing transformative power of Remote Sensing, GIS, AI, ML, etc., we provide farm level analytics and actionable insights to value chain partners and financial institutions. DER’s Doordrishti digital platform and Khetscore, alternate to credit score has helped it to achieve market linkages worth INR 250 million and financial linkages to 18,000+ smallholder farmers (50% new to institutional credit). Khetscore It is a 3-year historical index of land analytics that acts as an alternative to credit score and helpful for credit underwriting. KhetScore is developed using the remote sensing data, artificial intelligence and inhouse algorithm. It accounts into multiple data points such as number of crops taken in the last 3 years, area under cultivation, crop health, crop moisture, crop nutrient status, soil moisture, and mechanical damage as well as meta data such as temperature, rainfall, flood, and drought during those 3 years. It uses indices such as NDVI (Normalised Difference Vegetation Index), GNDVI (Green Normalised Difference Vegetation Index), NDMI (Normalised Difference Moisture Index), NMDI (Normalised Multi-Band Drought Index) and VHVV (Vertical Horizontal Vertical Horizontal) to assess these parameters using multispectral data, hyperspectral data, optical data, microwave radar data, weather data etc. Based on the assessment and the weightages to different parameters, the inhouse algorithm generates KhetScore for the farmers. Dvara E-Registry works as a business correspondent for financial institutions, identifies creditworthy farmers based on Khetscore and provide them access to institutional lending hassle free digital process by FRs at their doorstep. Doordrishti Digital Platform Doordrishti is a multifaceted product from DER that aims to address challenges in the value chain and to offer all round solutions to each stakeholder in the Agri value chain. Each component of Doordrishti caters to the specific needs and use cases of the concerned customer segment. It is available as a web application (Doordrishti FPO Saathi) and mobile application (Doodrishti Krishak and Doordrishti Krishak Saathi) in accordance with the user’s need. Doordrishti FPO Saathi Doordrishti FPO Saathi is a web application for the FPO. FPOs can get to know about each farmer, their landholdings, and crop sown as well as estimated agri input demand and estimated agri production. This assists in timely sale of input supplies & buy produce from farmers, that further helps the shareholder farmers for better margins & helps FPOs increase their reach beyond the immediate vicinity of their retail outlets. FPOs can have farmer wise updates on crops, farms, and landholding patterns. They can track crop-wise area under cultivation. They get real-time updates on crop status like crop stage, real time crop health status on the field, tentative date of harvesting, expected yield, harvesting and arrival windows and other key time windows for different agricultural stages. Interface also provides weather updates (block level) along with Futures and APMC prices. We provide special functionality through which FPOs’ can communicate to their member farmers via mobile app notifications. The system also manages the accounting as well as records compliances for the FPOs. Doordrishti Krishak Saathi Doordrishti Krishak Saathi mobile application will be used by field representatives or Krishak Saathis as we call them for data collection. Field representatives are provided with login details which would then give them access to the farmer list and information that needs to be collected for each farmer based on the farmer list provided by the FPO. Registration is considered completed only once the farmer and farm registration of the member farmers is done. Krishak Saathis are expected to complete registration for all farmers, facilitate the placing of orders of farmers for the products listed by FPO and selling intent for the farmers for the produce FPO intents to buy, for farmers who do not have smartphones, assist farmers in being able to use the Doordrishti Krishak application independently and troubleshoot as and when required. Doordrishti Krishak Doordrishti Krishak is a mobile application for farmers. Doordrishti Krishak provides a bouquet of services such as crop advisory through mobile app notifications, block wise weather updates, Future & APMC price alerts, and much more. Member farmers of the FPO can use this interface to communicate with the FPO and convey input orders or sell their produce if the FPO is procuring.
