AgShop is a marketplace dedicated to agricultural inputs marketing. Due to farmer’s low income, remoteness of villages and a poor national Agricultural advisory system, AgShop aims to facilitate access to quality inputs, in small quantities and advisory services to smallholder farmers. Agricultural inputs refer to seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and equipments.

AgShop is a hybrid marketplace (online and physical store) dedicated to agricultural inputs marketing— agricultural inputs refer to seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and equipments. Designed based on some key challenges in rural area in Niger— the farmer’s low income, remoteness of villages and a poor national Agricultural advisory system, AgShop aims to facilitate access to quality Agricultural inputs and farm advisory services— notably on input uses and handling— to smallholder farmers through acquisition, reconditioning and commercialization even in small quanitity. Stakeholder can also access to relevant and credible information on inputs (availability, characteristics, use, trends) via agsho.csan-niger.com. The platform comprises a hybrid store, social media (WhatsApp, FaceBook) and very soon a mobile App for marketing our products. To overcome constraints mentionned above AgShop combines sale of small quantities and low prices of inputs, home shipping services, digital payment (mobile payment), etc.
