ICTforAg 2023

Description:

ICTforAg is an annual gathering where agricultural stakeholders and technology experts come together to share knowledge, find solutions, and form partnerships to address challenges in agri-food systems across low- and middle-income countries.

The main goal of ICTforAg is to grow communities and catalyze meaningful conversations, insights, and collaborations, increase participation of participants from the developing world, promote knowledge sharing and learning, and inspire practitioners to develop inclusive and sustainable ICT solutions. We anticipate that local digital ecosystems will be strengthened to invest in and deliver impactful, inclusive, and sustainable ICTforAg solutions and projects.

The ICTforAg 2023 event will focus on the following tracks:

Inspiration:This track will inspire the audience with real-world examples, showcasing both success and lessons-learned stories, highlighting the potential of digital technologies to drive positive changes in the agri-food sector.

Innovation: This track will explore innovative digital technology solutions that are available in agri-food systems in the developing world, delving into cutting-edge research, technologies, and approaches that are scaling while overcoming adoption barriers. Inclusion: This track will critically review technology solutions through the lens of gender and social inclusion, highlighting the policies, strategies, and other enabling considerations that can lead to an inclusive digital ecosystem.

We expect to have more than 100 speakers across 36+ sessions throughout the three-day global event.
